Martin Theatre Management and Operations

The City of Panama City is seeking a qualified operator to manage, staff, program, and run the historic Martin Theatre. The operator will be responsible for all aspects of theatre operations including event programming (200+ events per year), ticketing, marketing, food & beverage service, security, facility maintenance, and back‑office administration. The contract is a turnkey, public‑private partnership that leverages the city’s tourism market (≈1 million visitors annually) and local festivals. Proposers must submit a full proposal by October 14, 2026 via the Bonfire portal and may attend an optional pre‑bid meeting on September 9, 2026. • Manage daily theatre operations, staffing, and customer service • Program and schedule performances, community events, and festivals • Oversee ticketing systems, marketing, and promotional activities • Operate food‑beverage concessions and manage related revenue streams • Provide security, maintenance, and facilities management for the renovated venue • Deliver regular financial and performance reports to the City’s Parks, Culture & Recreation Department.
