Transcription Services

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas is seeking a vendor to provide transcription services for its board meetings. The selected vendor will be required to provide audio recordings and transcriptions of the meetings, as well as maintain and return TRS materials. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an optional one-year renewal term. The vendor must have at least three years of experience providing audio recording and transcription services, and must be able to provide in-person recording personnel at TRS headquarters in Austin, Texas. • The vendor must be able to provide necessary personnel and audio recording equipment for a minimum of three TRS meetings at any one time. • The vendor must be able to provide all necessary recording equipment for a room that lacks sound system and recording capabilities. • The vendor must be able to provide travel outside the city limits of Austin, but within the state of Texas. • The vendor must acknowledge in its proposal that all assigned personnel will be kept abreast of the latest open meeting and parliamentary procedures followed by state public entities.
