Description
The Department of Children and Families is seeking a vendor to provide fire alarm testing and inspection services for the Florida State Hospital. The contract will be for a period of approximately 225 days, from November 17, 2025, to June 30, 2026. The vendor must be able to provide maintenance, testing, and inspection services to ensure the fire alarm system is in working order, in accordance with Florida Statutes 633 and Florida Administrative Code 69A. The estimated dollar amount for this contract is $91,718.45.
• The vendor must have experience with proprietary systems, specifically Johnson Controls Fire Protection systems.
• The vendor must be able to provide services that meet the requirements of the State Fire Marshal and the Agency for Health Care Administration.
• The vendor must be able to provide all necessary parts and components for the system, which are exclusively available through Simplex.
• The vendor must be able to perform all service, maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspections required by the system.
