Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is seeking a qualified executive‑search firm to conduct a full‑service search for its next Chief Executive Officer. The contractor will be responsible for a needs assessment, development and execution of a recruitment strategy, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and support of final selection and negotiation. The effort must be completed on a firm‑fixed‑price basis with a possible performance‑based fee tied to the appointed CEO’s salary.
• Deliver a confidential, collaborative executive‑search process tailored to a bi‑state public‑transit agency.
• Provide comprehensive candidate pipeline, screening, interview logistics, and post‑selection support (including optional CEO coaching).
• Submit a hard‑copy proposal and flash‑drive copy by February 27, 2026 2 pm CST; questions due by February 13, 2026 2 pm CST.
