Event Security and Crowd Management Services

The Classic Center Authority is seeking qualified contractors to provide event security and crowd management services for sports, convention, and entertainment venues. The selected firm will be responsible for providing trained personnel to support public security and safety, execute established event plans, and provide related crowd management services. The contract is expected to continue existing program services with an awarded vendor. • The contract will require the provision of unarmed guards • Security staffing levels will vary based on event type, attendance thresholds, or risk profile • The expected number of guard posts will vary event to event, based on need • Guards will have significant authority on established crowd control rules and audience expectations, but limited authority for ejections and physical intervention • The guard force is not expected to manage security technology, but will require training and operational experience with Magnetometers and Open Gate Technology
