Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify firms with the resources to support a requirement to provide Fire Damper Inspection and Testing services for the Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The services include locating and operating all dampers, removing and resetting fusible links, lubricating moving parts, clearing debris, and coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative to place the fire alarm system in test mode. The contractor will also be required to document the testing and provide digital pictures of the before and after conditions of each damper.

• The services shall be performed in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association Code.
• The contractor shall not change the fire/smoke damper ID number and shall use the VA-provided damper ID number for each fire/smoke damper.
• The contractor shall provide a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort and documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
