Primary Foodservice Distributor - Student Nutrition Services

Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking a primary foodservice distributor to provide frozen, refrigerated, grocery, dry foods, and commodity processed products to individual school sites for use in various food programs. The contract will be based on a "cost" plus "fixed fee per case" model, with an additional "jobber fee per case" for receipt, storage, and distribution of USDA direct delivery commodity foods. The distributor will need to provide a wide range of products, including bread, biscuits, bagels, cakes, cookies, dairy products, eggs, entrees, fruits, juices, pancakes, pizzas, salads, sandwiches, seafood, soups, and vegetables. • The contract is for the delivery of food products to school sites. • The distributor will need to provide a "cost" plus "fixed fee per case" pricing model. • A separate "jobber fee per case" will be paid for receipt, storage, and distribution of USDA direct delivery commodity foods. • The contract is for the provision of food products for various food programs, including the National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, Summer Food Service Program, and the Child Care and Adult Food Program's After School Meals Program.
