Senior Nutrition Services

The County of Oswego is soliciting proposals for meal preparation, packaging, delivery services, and site management to senior congregate dining sites and for meal preparation, packaging, delivery services for home delivered meals for the Oswego County Office for the Aging. Proposals can be for hot meals or cook-chill meals for regular home delivered meals and congregate meals. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing services to senior congregate dining sites and home delivered meals, as well as managing the sites and delivering meals. • The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and terminate on December 31, 2026, with the possibility of four one-year extensions. • The vendor must provide a detailed proposal describing how they will fulfill the scope of work, including a strategy to ensure no lapse in service due to staff vacancy or extended absence. • The vendor must provide a sample menu with nutrient analysis and have a kitchen ready to produce food by January 2, 2026. • The vendor must have staff enough to deliver meals to 500+ participants by January 1, 2026.
