Building Plan Review and Inspection Services

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking qualified firms to perform building plan review and inspection services on an as-needed basis. The selected firms will be required to confirm compliance with the Florida Building Code, City ordinances, and all applicable regulations for commercial and residential projects. The services will include plan review, inspection, and potentially disaster-related services during declared States of Emergency. The initial term of the agreement will be 3 years, with the option to renew for two 1-year periods. The City is looking for firms with experience in providing building plan review and inspection services, personnel with current and applicable certifications and licenses, and the ability to obtain minimum insurance requirements. • The City will award to multiple vendors. • The selected firms will provide all labor and materials necessary to perform the services. • The firms will be required to assign dedicated personnel to the City's contract and maintain consistency. • The firms will be responsible for providing customer service and guidance to contractors, property owners, and design professionals. • The City will provide a point of contact to administer the agreement and assist with planning, strategy, and objectives. • The City will provide appropriate hardware and software to complete contracted services.
