Operator(s) for the New Brighton Pool and Trout Lake Concession Stands

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is seeking one or more operators to manage two concession stands at New Brighton Pool and John Hendry Park (Trout Lake). The successful operator(s) will be responsible for providing food and beverage services, including alcohol, to park visitors. The term of the agreement will be one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year terms. The operator(s) will be required to hold a valid Serving It Right certification, provide evidence of operating in a Food Primary Liquor License environment, and undergo criminal background checks. Key responsibilities include operating the concession stands during approved hours, managing inventory and ordering, ensuring compliance with liquor regulations, and providing staff training. The operator(s) will also be responsible for maintaining the concession stands and surrounding areas, and for providing a high level of customer service. • The concession stands will offer a variety of food and beverage options, including beer, wine, cider, and coolers. • The operator(s) will be required to provide a detailed business plan, including financial projections and marketing strategies. • The operator(s) will be responsible for maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications, including a valid business license and health permit. • The operator(s) will be required to provide proof of insurance coverage and to adhere to all Parks concession operating manual requirements.
