The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) is seeking a qualified commercial‑plumbing contractor to provide installation, repair, and maintenance services across its K‑12 facilities. The work includes water, waste, gas, and refrigerant piping; water heaters; fixtures such as toilets, urinals, sinks, and faucets; storage and recirculation tanks; backflow preventers; grease traps; sewer and grinder stations; and emergency response for critical failures. The contract will be awarded under a multi‑year framework with individual projects ranging from under $30,000 to up to $1 million, allowing the contractor to receive recurring work as needs arise. Key compliance requirements include adherence to local, state, and national plumbing codes, ADA standards, insurance minimums, background‑check mandates, and a series of certifications and affidavits. • Scope covers full‑service commercial plumbing for all MNPS schools (elementary through high school, charter, special‑education, and alternative sites). • Projects are “as‑needed” and will be issued via Purchase Orders; no minimum volume is guaranteed. • Contractor must provide 30‑day response to inquiries, submit a sealed electronic proposal by April 9 2026, and be prepared for rapid emergency response (≤ 1 hour).
