Description
The Byram Hills Central School District is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to provide 24/7 on‑call emergency service, routine maintenance, repairs, and installations for all district facilities for a one‑year term, with two optional one‑year extensions. The contractor must staff at least ten full‑time mechanics (including journeymen), hold a suite of certifications (EPA refrigerant, LEED, OMNTEC, OSHA 30, etc.), carry extensive insurance, and comply with NY prevailing‑wage and safety regulations. Work includes emergency response within two hours, preventive maintenance, cooling‑tower cleaning, and full parts replacement using new manufacturer components. Payments are based on hourly labor rates (meeting NY prevailing wage) plus a markup on parts, with invoicing supported by certified payrolls and material receipts.
