DSC Dining Services

The State of Georgia, through Dalton State College, is seeking a qualified vendor to operate and manage all dining‑service functions on the Dalton State College campus. The contract will cover multiple on‑site food‑service locations, residential meal‑plan administration, commuter/block‑plan services, catering for campus events, summer‑camp food support, and related retail operations. The supplier must meet extensive food‑quality, health‑inspection, sustainability, staffing, PCI‑DSS, insurance, and reporting requirements, and will be evaluated on mandatory technical criteria (minimum three years of higher‑education food‑service experience, licensing, and compliance) plus a cost score. The award will result in an initial 18‑month term (Jan 1 2027 – Jun 30 2028) with up to four one‑year renewal options. • Operate the Roadrunner Café and Rage Café, plus any additional dining venues on the DSC campus. • Provide residential, commuter, and faculty/staff meal‑plan options using an eight‑week rotating menu cycle (or college‑approved alternative). • Deliver full‑service catering, summer‑camp food support, and support for special events, while meeting USG meal‑rate standards and sustainability goals. • Maintain required insurance, PCI‑DSS compliance, health‑department scores ≥ 90, and submit quarterly KPI reports and a detailed transition plan.
