Description
The United States District Court, Central District of California Probation and Pretrial Services Office is seeking proposals from hotels and resorts for their 2026 Post Conviction Division Training Conference. The conference will be held from September 23 to September 25, 2026, in Santa Barbara/Goleta, CA, and will require a hotel with a rating of 4 stars or better, contiguous meeting space, and a restaurant with seating for up to 100 people. The hotel must also provide complimentary or reduced rate self-parking, late check-out on Friday, and be able to separate agency conference charges from individual room charges. The selected hotel will be required to provide meeting rooms, audio-visual equipment, and food and beverage services for the conference.
• The conference will have approximately 120 attendees.
• The hotel must have a minimum of 360 room nights available.
• The hotel must provide a secure storage room with a locking door in close proximity to the ballroom.
• The hotel must provide space for registration/reception near the main meeting room.
• The hotel must provide a ballroom for the main session with round tables of 8 for approximately 120 people.
• The hotel must provide breakfast, lunch, and breaks for the attendees.
• The hotel must provide audio-visual equipment, including wireless handheld microphones, projection screens, and a podium.
