Description
The Texas Department of Banking is seeking a venue to host its 2027 Staff Training Conference. The conference will be held for 4 days, with 220 staff members and speakers in attendance. The venue must be within the city limits of Conroe, Texas, and must provide conference space, guest rooms, and various amenities such as complimentary breakfast, beverages, and snacks. The selected venue will be required to provide a detailed breakdown of costs, including room rental, audio/visual, and other expenses. The contract term will be from the date of contract award through the conclusion of the conference.
• The venue must be able to accommodate 220 people for the first three days and 180 people on the last day.
• The conference space must be at least 8,000 square feet and contiguous with the hotel guest rooms.
• The hotel must be able to provide the state rate for all hotel rooms based on the rates established for the applicable city.
• The venue must provide complimentary wireless internet access in all common areas and guest rooms.
• The venue must provide storage for materials and work space for TXDOB staff during the event.
