Grounds‑Maintenance Services for The Citadel (Alumni Center)

This contract awards Phoenix Landscape Management, Inc. the responsibility for routine grounds‑maintenance at The Citadel’s Alumni Center and related campus sites. The work includes mowing, edging, weed and pest control, pruning of trees and shrubs, mulching, debris removal, and annual soil testing. Services are performed weekly in the warmer months and twice‑monthly in colder months, with a required response time of 24 hours for any issues. The contract runs for five years with automatic annual renewals unless the State gives 30‑day notice. • Scope covers three Citadel locations (Alumni Center, Johnson Hagood Stadium, and a third building). • Mandatory twice‑yearly mulch application (2 inches) and no responsibility for flower‑pot or irrigation repairs. • Vendor must hold South Carolina vendor registration, carry specified insurance, and demonstrate at least five years of commercial landscaping experience.
