The Arizona Department of Education is issuing a solicitation to create a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for providers of conference and meeting facilities throughout Arizona. Vendors who are accepted onto the QVL will be eligible for future event‑specific RFQs and purchase orders. The solicitation does not guarantee any award volume; instead, it establishes qualification criteria, insurance and compliance requirements, and a contract term of up to five years.
• Required capabilities: conference spaces that accommodate 100‑1,000 attendees, breakout rooms, registration areas, dining facilities, on‑site or affiliated hotel lodging, and full ADA compliance.
• Additional mandates: facilities must be physically separate from any gaming operations and must meet state‑mandated certifications (E‑Verify, anti‑boycott of Israel, forced‑labor restrictions, cybersecurity rules).
• Vendors must submit an electronic application through the Arizona Procurement Portal, include a nominal price entry, and provide proof of insurance (CGL $2 M aggregate, workers’ comp, etc.).
• The QVL will be valid for an initial one‑year period with possible extensions up to a total of five years, and all work will be performed within Arizona.
