Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform fire system inspections and repairs at the VA Grand Junction Building 45 in Grand Junction, Colorado. The contract is for a period of one year. The inspection report provided in the attachment shows that there are deficiencies in the fire system, including gauges that need to be replaced. The contractor will be responsible for performing semi-annual inspections and repairs to ensure that the fire system is in good working condition.
• The contractor must comply with NFPA 25 2011 standards for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems.
• The contractor must provide a report of inspection and test, including any deficiencies found and recommendations for repairs.
