Description
The Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission is seeking a contractor to provide court reporting services for virtual and in-person hearings, proceedings, and depositions. The selected contractor will be required to provide transcripts of hearings and other proceedings, as well as any depositions in court cases to which the Commission is a party. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance of the contract. The contract is expected to begin on July 1, 2025, and end on June 30, 2028, with the option to extend for two additional years.
• The contractor must be licensed to do business in the State of Washington or provide a commitment to become licensed within thirty calendar days of being selected.
• The contractor must have at least ten years of experience in court reporting and transcription services.
• The contractor must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provide transcripts in a format that meets the requirements of the Commission.
• The contractor must obtain all official permits and licenses required for the performance of the work.
• The contractor must comply with the law and constitution of the State of Washington, including the applicable portions of Chapter 49.60 RCW, Law Against Discrimination.
