Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to provide comprehensive fire‑ and smoke‑door services at its Seattle and American Lake VA Medical Centers. The scope includes a one‑time initial inventory of all fire and smoke door assemblies (estimated 1,050 doors), annual inspection and testing of the entire inventory, defect reporting, corrective repair, and certification of each door per NFPA 80/105 standards. The contract is structured as a base year (09‑18‑2026 to 09‑17‑2027) with four one‑year options, each year priced as a firm‑fixed‑price lump sum covering inspection, testing, reporting, and an allowance for repairs; major repairs exceeding the allowance are funded separately. Deliverables include inventory spreadsheets, inspection reports, deficiency reports (15 business days after inspection), repair completion reports, certification reports, and an updated inventory database. Access to life‑safety drawings for both campuses will be provided; the contractor must have NFPA‑80‑certified inspectors and be able to work within hospital operating hours (0600‑1600) with possible after‑hours coordination.

• Fixed‑price annual CLINs for inspection/testing (0001/1001/2001/3001/4001) and separate CLINs for repair & certification (0003, 1002, 2002, 3002, 4002).
• Estimated 1,050 doors; repair allowance built into annual price, major repairs handled via separate funding.
• Contractor must be SDVOSB‑qualified, possess NFPA‑80/105 certifications, and comply with VA security and infection‑control requirements.
