Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Home Oxygen and Ventilator Services to Veteran beneficiaries serviced by the Central Alabama VA Medical Center-Montgomery. The contractor will be responsible for setting up, installing, and managing home oxygen services and ventilation equipment, as well as providing associated program management, human engineering, and logistic support planning. The contract is for a period of five years, with a maximum contract limit of $9,000,000. The contractor must have a business location primarily engaged in the performance of the scope of work within a 50-mile radius from the supported medical center.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Setting up and installing home oxygen equipment and ventilation systems
* Providing education to patients on the use and care of equipment
* Performing regular maintenance visits and equipment inspections
* Coordinating with the VA designee and/or COR for patient care and service delivery
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting requirements
