DISA Legacy Systems Application Management

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is seeking sources to provide full life-cycle application management for their Legacy Systems, which include Contract Support System (CSS), Contractual Online Procurement System (COPS), Financial Accounting and Budget System (FABS), and the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Web. The contractor will be responsible for providing technical and development support, database administration, and system administration for the legacy systems. The contractor will also be required to respond to user trouble tickets, analyze and correct Tier 2 problems, and escalate Tier 3 problems. The contractor will need to collaborate with the development teams from legacy, data integration, and Business Process Management (BPM) to ensure the artifact management tool is actively maintained and reflects the current status of each artifact or ticket. Some key features of the job include: * Providing full life-cycle application management for the Legacy Systems * Responding to user trouble tickets and analyzing and correcting Tier 2 problems * Collaborating with development teams to maintain the artifact management tool * Developing, testing, and implementing change requests * Providing technical expertise to ensure high availability of the legacy systems * Maintaining and updating system documentation * The Legacy Systems primarily consist of CSS, COPS, FABS, and DITCO Web, as well as other subsystems such as RTFS, JHITS, and DTI. * The contractor will need to have experience with data center networking and cloud networking technologies, as well as experience managing internal or client-facing projects to completion and troubleshooting clients' technical issues. * The contractor will also need to have knowledge of system security, data backup and recovery, and familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
